Now you can have the flexibility to do things in the easiest and fastest way for you and each one of your programmers:
- If you want to quickly bang out a simple program in Mazatrol directly, you can do that (without being tied up in the complexity of some CAD/CAM systems)
- If you want the full power of a mainstream CAD/CAM system to do complex work, you can do that.
- If you want to program your part once, then move it to different machines (either Mazak or G-code), MazaCAM has that available – from the same program you can select whether you want Mazatrol output or G-code output – without re-programming from scratch.
- If the job you are programming for your Mazak would be best mostly in Mazatrol, but some sections require G-code (EIA) program -- MazaCAM not only lets you do that, but integrates all the programs at a click of a button instead of mucking about trying to manually connect the programs and sub-programs. It does it for you instead of all the confusion on the shop-floor that ties of valuable CNC time.
- If you want to work from a library of established processes (tools and cuts, etc), this can make similar parts programmed very quickly by re-using past work, such as families of parts and similar jobs.
